What information will MuchinskyTax need me to provide in order to prepare and file my tax return?
To begin filing, MuchinskyTax will need information from you about the following:
1. Your Situation: Personal information falls into this category, as well as items that affect how your return is filed, such as marital status, if you have any dependents, and other miscellaneous information required by the IRS.
2. Your Income: This may include, but is not limited to things like wages and salaries paid to you, interest income received, capital gains or dividends, and rental and/or self employment incomes.
3. Your Expenses: This information will be about expenditures that you had such as taxes that you have paid, business or investment expenses, relocation, moving or housing costs, charitable giving, etc.
What security measures do you have in place to keep my information safe?
We understand that many people are apprehensive about sharing their personal information with others, especially through an online platform. In order to protect your information and ensure that it is completely confidential, MuchinskyTax partners with Sharefile by Citrix. How much will it cost to have MuchinskyTax prepare my tax return ?
MuchinskyTax has the perfect business model to keep our rates affordable, as well as very competitive. We do not have the overhead costs of Bricks and Mortar CPA firms yet we have the expertise. Each tax situation is different, though, so precise pricing for customers will vary some based on their unique filing needs. When you sign up for a free consultation, it not only gives you the opportunity to ask a tax professional questions about your situation and tax strategy, but it also gives us a chance to understand the amount of forms and schedules that need to be filled out, in order to give a fair, accurate and fixed quote.
Who will actually prepare my tax return?
At MuchinskyTax, all of our client returns are done in-house, and we do not outsource work. We have an entire team of specialists that prepare and file our customer’s tax returns. Each one is a competent and proficient tax professional. We do not hire temporary help for the season after taking a 2 week tax prep course like some of our competitors. Additionally, once you have been assigned a tax professional, you will have access to this same person for the entire process.
What if I have not filed a return in several years?
This is actually a pretty common situation. At MuchinskyTax, our specialists are knowledgeable about back taxes and can assist you in getting things current with the US tax authorities. Once you are assigned an accountant, they will find out how many years of delinquent taxes need to be filed, and then give you detailed instructions on what documentation you will need. Best of all, once you have submitted your records and information to them, they will handle the entire preparation and filing process for you.
